VOL 1, ISSUE 3

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.
And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Mt 28:19-20 NLT

Uganda is one of our focus nations here at R3ACH. Currently we are supporting three projects in Uganda and are even planning to take a team there in the beginning of 2012.

ISAAC STILTZ - Facing the Giant

Isaac is currently on a six-month mission in Uganda with Youthworx EA. In addition to ministering around that part of Africa, Isaac had decided to tackle a specific giant there. “The one I feel most inclined to challenge is the absence of God's Word among believers.” So Isaac is raising funds to put Bibles in the hands of the believers. Each Bible cost about $4, and if interested, you can donate funds to this cause by writing a check payable to Fathers House, and mark it: “R3ACH Bibles”. To stay up to date with Isaac, email him at us2uganda@gmail.com.

JIM BASS

Jim is heading out to Uganda/Rwanda May 2nd through May 31st and will be conducting Deep Healing ministry and training. Many of you know Jim, but if you want to find out more, visit www.pcmnw.net. You can find out more info there on how to support Jim in prayer and how to support him financially.

I AM'S CHICKEN PROJECT

In January 2010 Sharnessa Sanden and Jessica Lemmons went to Uganda on a short-term mission trip. One of the ministries they connected with was I AM Children’s Ministr, which is an orphanage helping the orphans of Kampala. Currently, I AM is working to become more self-sustaining and part of that effort is a project to build a chicken farm. The total cost of the project is $5000 and if you feel lead to contribute to making this happen, they would greatly appreciate it! For more info, go to www.r3ach.org/PDF/iam.pdf. MISSION TRIP

We’re currently planning a mission trip in Feb 2012 to Uganda as well. Contact Sam to get updates and to find out more!

Joretta Martin is spearheading our Zambia Ministry. We are partnering with the Women’s Club of Mupimbishi in Zambia to help them make a difference in their community! By providing the tools needed to start small businesses, we can make a dent in the needs of this poor village by helping them help themselves! We would love for you to partner with us! Here’s how you can help!

1) CRAFT SUPPLIES

- sewing needles & buttons
- beads (old and/or broken necklaces, spare)
- zippers, hook & eye, snaps
- scissors, pliers, pocket knives
- butcher knives & cutlery (knives, forks, spoons)

2) BIBLES

We hope to provide a Bible for every family in Mupimbishi . We’d love any that you no longer use.

3) SCHOOL BOOKS (ELEMENTARY AGE)

School books (used or new) that could help children learn English would be another great blessing!

4) FINANCES

To send each package to Zambia cost about $55 so if you feel called to help get the items sent, please contact Sam. To give by check, make it payable to Fathers House, and mark it: “R3ACH ZAMBIA” and we’ll get the boxes sent!

You can drop off the items in the black R3ACH barrel by the Giving Center Kiosk at church or drop your check in the offering boxes.
